We are changing the rulebook of battery management systems (BMS)

Unparalleled advantage and direct benefits of the EVolution BMS

  • 300% longer battery life
  • 30% fewer cells needed for the same energy usage
  • 40% cell cost reduction
  • Significantly faster charging
  • Making inverters redundant
  • Unprecedented control and reduction of carbon emissions footprint

Understand EVolution in 150 seconds

The EV Challenge

  • To become the global mobility standard, electric vehicles (EVs) must at least match the costs of the internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles
  • The main price variance driver is the battery pack (or powertrain)
  • To match the ICEs, the price of an EV powertrain has to drop well below $100 per kWh
  • Only at that price point, EVs will have the economics to replace ICEs en mass

The main barriers to EV battery packs cost reduction

  • Battery packs are built out of cells and each cell is produced with a slight variance in performance
  • The entire battery pack performance is limited to its weakest cell... the weakest link in a pack reduces the overall performance of the entire battery
  • Even the slightest variance in any of the cell's attributes will grow over time
  • And cell-to-cell variance actually accelerates as the battery pack is cycled and stressed to 100% Depth of Discharge (DOD)
  • AS A RESULT:
    1) Total battery life expectancy is dramatically reduced
    2) Charge & discharge speeds are reduced
    3) Massive heat management problems ensue

Bottomline: one of the main barriers to the reduction of batteries' costs  is in the inefficient management of inter-cell battery power and the manufacturing efforts to minimize the debilitating variance between cells to overcome this problem.

Our solution

  • The EVolution chip rides on the battery pack with two-way wiring to each and every individual cell
  • EVolution becomes a command-center that senses and controls the energy in/out flows of each independent cell
  • We use real AI algorithms to continuously learn individual cell behavior and condition throughout the charge/discharge cycles
  • The proprietary algorithms adjust cell-energy programming on a continuous basis optimizing the performance of the entire battery pack by orders of magnitude

Our market segments

  • Battery vendors
  • EV manufacturers
  • Energy companies

We provide unprecedented Control over Carbon Emission Footprint
